Talks on Paranormal Themes

I have presented talks on my various research interests to international organisations such as The Ghost Club (1862), The Last Tuesday Society and the Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena (ASSAP), both online and in person. I have also spoken to local societies including The London Dowsers, the Enfield National Trust Association and the University of the Third Age (U3A).

A culturo-historic exploration of the interplay between science, religion, philosophy and the paranormal in the Victorian period. This talk investigates the early psychical researchers and their theories on the paranormal. It posits a new typology which describes how the paranormal was thought of at the time and suggests that this is still relevant today.
